Clinical Operations at Sea (COAST) is a unique retreat designed for clinical research professionals who need space to reconnect with themselves, their purpose, and each other.

This year, COAST shifts from a traditional conference to a wellness-centered retreat experience, creating an environment where meaningful conversations, authentic relationships, and personal renewal take center stage. Surrounded by the ocean, attendees step away from the daily pressures of clinical operations to focus on balance, mental well-being, leadership, and sustainable careers in clinical research.

2026 Cruise Itinerary

Please Note: This is a "closed-loop" cruise so passports are not required but are highly encouraged for all attendees.

If you do not have a passport, ensure you have two forms of photo ID.

For passport holders, ensure the expiration date is not within 6 months of the completion of the sailing.

What Did 2025 Attendees Value Most?

What I liked most was how the conference was designed for both learning and connection. The sessions weren’t jam-packed into nonstop days, which made them easier to absorb and more meaningful. Plus, having other things to do in the environment outside of the conference added to the overall experience.
